Came across this essay at my work quite by accident. I love it, and hope anyone who reads it will understand..... Over the past year I had to take a break and be rebuilt. Still not complete, but ready enough to begin to delve into my art and get it together to produce some work. A man takes alot away from a woman when he sees her as 'disposed of': her confidence and self esteem take the toll. How can one be creative when inside one feels....I don't even know if I have a word for it....Dead?...Worthless?..... FTS....Time to take myself BACK. Let the anger and depression be the source of new energies..new creative force...a new me. and with that, I begin my day...Invigorated and renewed.
